Me neither although I do admit to a little cry when I see spiderwoman and Annie and a few others. Makes me book a couple of extra gym classes, then I get over it and grab another packet of chocolate buttons. I’m my own worst enemy |

Oh I don’t know, both sexes can be bad. But it is worrying how viscous some woman can be when I would expect them to stick together type of thing.
Men banter, ‘my cocks bigger/they’re not muscles etc..) but body shaming? I’ve never thought of it as such. My brother has a nickname that refers to his size, he’s never had an issue with it, but gets me thinking how he might feel about it personally if ‘body shaming’ was brought up.  |

The only body I shame, is my own. I prefer to empower others, than put them down. There's enough people who like to drag others down. I'm in the 'It's not gender specific' camp. It's a certain type of person who takes enjoyment from it. Not one sex as a whole. |

I have only ever been body shamed by a handful of females, but I have been body shamed by hoards of males.
Growing up I was bullied for being very thin as I have metabolism problems, and it was guys that hit me and made comments and pushed me down stairs, not women.
Everyone has the right to feel happy and proud of who they are as their bodies tell a story of their past. I will never body shame anyone as a result. |

I have recently been in contact with one and he was extremely apologetic, blaming it on his own insecurities as well as mob mentality which I completely get it. Now that he has daughters, he understands how important being body positive will be, as his five year old wanted to go on a diet. |

I don't think either sex is any worse. Women body shame other women due to insecurities, men body shame certain types of women due to trying to impress another type of woman. It's less common for women to body shame men though I think, and likewise you don't often see men body shaming other men. Men on here are more likely to pick on personality traits of other men rather than their appearance I think. Just my observations. |
