Its 37 years today since I lost my dad
He was 35 I was 10
Never a day goes by even now when I dont think of him or miss him in some way
A death is distressing at any time but around this time seems somehow worse
Thinking of all who have lost loved ones around this time
And wishing them all a good Christmas and new year

My Mum died on 9th December then my Dad on 11th December.
I call them Mum and Dads days and always do something special just for me, be it a special treat or just quality time with good friends. Same for my Sisters day in September, I know they would all approve!!
