We tend to get the 90%+ meat content ones from the local butchers. With the other ten percent being the herbs, apples, onions, chili and such

There's a company that goes round the local farmers markets called Giggly Pig who are very nice.

Making your own is a great way to have full knowledge of what you're getting in the banger!

I like a good beef sausage. Up here in sunny Scotland and many moons ago beef sausages were common, possibly even the most common. Sadly no longer the case and choice is a bit limited. - see: sad face.

Lidl do nice Lincolnshire sausages, but I like the one from our local butchers. Every so often they change the flavours too. Pork and sweet chilli was nice, pork and Apple, Black pudding pork and Apple, beef and tomato...

I'll second 'giggly pig'. I found them at a Xmas fair in 2016 then discovered they were local to my mum albeit 60 miles from me. Its not really a shop as you'd expect although they are based in a parade of shops.

Great sausages and good value for money too.

I've also found some yummy sausages at the butchers within the local garden centre.

They are and only about 6 houses down the street too. Proper quality butchers!
