Cola is horrible...
"same great taste" is utter bullshit.
It tastes thin, there's no substance to it.
It has a horrible chemical taste like those hermaseta tablets.
Full sugar drinks, in moderation, are not bad for you.

"Wasn't sugar replaced with HFCS years ago in Coca-Cola?"
I think it was in the USA but it’s not really used much in Europe afaik as it’s shockily bad for you. |

I won’t drink diet drinks nor do my kids. Too much shit in them. Aspartame etc. Having a child with ADHD I’ve looked into it a lot and I wouldn’t buy reduced sugar anything anymore. Everything in moderation. |

I drink the zero version.
In a can of "the real thing" it's 33g of shugar and if you get fat like that you will die early and have lifelong problems.
I talk to a former marine who drank 8 cans per day. He also did many tours and could run 6 miles in 30 mins and rode a mountain bike for hours every night.
The truth is drinking 33g of shugar isn't "moderation" unless you really smash the exercise to burn it off.
1 hour in the gym won't burn off 8 cans of . |

"I don't drink but people moan about the sugar then got stick 2 sugars in their tea"
I have half a sugar in my tea because I can't stand the taste of sweeteners.
I can't drink tea without sugar without gagging so I've reduced the cups I drink from 8 a day to 2/3.
It's as difficult for me as giving up cigarettes is for a smoker. |

I think of moderation as a couple of times a month.
Fizzy drinks are for a treat, not to quench thirst. |

Yeah. It’s pretty much unusable as fuel in humans iirc. Been a while since I looked at it but it’s not too hard to stear clear of. |

All types of carbon dioxcide will corrode your teeth.
Dentists recommend you drink flavoured still water.
Shugar and carbon dioxcide are more harmfull than small doses of aspartame.
Shugar is actually bad for you and not even good in fruit. But we consider fruit genrally good for you so mild dose of shugar is acceptable them.
It's a drug. Like saying "crystal meth is won't make me ugly if I just do a little bit"

"Zero sugar for me. Can't have too much sugar in my diet so would rather have the odd cake than a can of full sugar fizzy.
Mrs
Bananas are good too "
Fruit has sugar in it so I avoid too much of that too. Not a fan of bananas though |

Pretty sure that's another medical old wives tale, you are correct dentist's do say that. they also say that if you leave a tooth in a glass full of it will have dissolved by the morning. So last time I lost a tooth from a sporting accident I stuck it in a glass full of full fat and left it for a wek, at the end you wouldn't believe the state of my tooth. Absolutely nothing whatsoever had happened to it no dissolving, no discoloration, no anything.
I also drink 5-10 cans of Pepsi max a day, plus tea and coffee, my last filling was about 7 years ago. |

I hate artificial sweeteners - they leave a horrible aftertaste. Trouble is you're hard pushed to find anything without these days. I find I normally stick to fresh fruit juice or water. Better for you than the fizzy drinks that rot your teeth too |

I drink diet and Pepsi max.
I was very fat and weak 1 year ago.
Had to just say I will fill my stomach with bland boring shit all day and drink nothing containing shugar. Only waiting till the very end of the day to eat anything stodgy.
Michael Phelps and marines can literally indulge on shugar and shit.
But a packet of walkers French fries is 99 calories. That's about 1 kilometre of jogging to burn I think.
A can of is 150 callories. Which is about a mile of jogging.
Your actual normal dinner etc...you should be getting roughly 1500-3000 per day if you calculate all this you roughly get an idea of why 2liters of and sitting on a couch all day will make your health deteriourate like drug misuse.
You could count in ice cream and cake and chocolate and moderate alcohol.
Doing long hours working in offices or teaching infants ABC made me more prone to be sedetry and mentally drained.
I was thin but had tits and a pregnant lady belly. This didn't help with my anxiety/depression. |

Fun fact..
Both Ms GR and myself run around in plate armour in caves and fields and don't break a sweat.
So we're Sure as shit not unhealthy.
I've known gym bunnies that couldn't do half of what we do for half the time we do it.

Pepsi max is zero calories and Shugar doesn't exist, however I believe they are still looking for Shergar. |

The first time I drank cola zero, I hated it. I then drank the flavoured version and they were tolerable. I can now drink the unflavoured version without gagging - it did take a few months though. |

Water is, but a fruit juice will have the same if not more sugar in.
Coca Cola original Coke is about the only soft drink that hasn’t, at least in part, switched to either all sweaters or a mix of sweeteners and sugar
And if anyone thinks this is about health you’re very much mistaken. It’s purely cost driven. |
