"But the angle of the triangle makes it great for poking into an unbroken runny yolkso does a knife"
But if you want it on your cooked bread you have to spread it with the knife.
Of course my theory is flawed as soldiers for dippy eggs are rectangle.
As you can tell I'm just oblong along with my musings on this subject. |

"It's just toast.
But no good to make a butty out of ya bacon
Fair point
Knives cut through bacon too."
Oh, that reminds me, I have bacon in the fridge that has to be used. |

Also not ideal with some brands of sliced bread as the slices are more retangular than square. And who wants toast where all sides of the triangle are visibly different lengths? That just looks weird. |

Toast and sandwiches should always be triangular unless you’re using some kind of crusty bread which is a weird shape to start with... you can’t be eating square or rectangular toast like a 6 year old?! |

Except the high speed milling it undergoes make it break down so fast it's more like sugar in the body nowadays - only stoneground bread can be compared. |

"Eggy bread ..... yummy .
Sorry we know it as French toast and cut it in triangles. "
In france they call it lost bread as they use dry or stale bread ...
I like using freshly cut , from a loaf.... like a batch loaf |
