I have always struggled for proper yorkshires.....but the last two weeks I have used Gino's recipe and OMG I am now a domestic goddess with rising gorgeous Yorkshires !!
It took an Italians recipe for me to get them right |

The quickest and easiest way to enjoy good Yorkshires is to go round to a mates house in Yorkshire.
Suggest they throw in some good beef topside with proper gravy. Tats and veg too whilst they're at it.
Let them do all the hard work and leave them with all the washing up.
Whatever could go wrong. |

I have learnt to heat the pan with oil in it until it is very hot before pouring the batter into the pan. Otherwise it may not rise as high as it should be. |

must try these yp ...do they rise well..have to admit make my own but come crimbo im not chancing the failure of them not rising cos when you want something to rise sometimes it dissapoints "
I first brought the M&S ones last christmas when I wanted to ensure they were dished up with the Christmas lunch...unlike the year before when I forgot to make them until it was too late and the turkey was carved!...
Better to be sure in my eyes...
Oh, and they tasted very nice, better than the frozen ones which I have to agree taste a little false. |
