I have just caught a programme and they have cut out then emptied a cows stomach before washing it for tripe , I feel a tad sick now

My mum and dad used to cook up tripe for our dogs, I hated the smell of the stuff boiling. yuk.

Tripe is lovely, one of my favourite dim sum dish is tripe in black bean sauce, yum yum!

I would never eat it, but I do cook it occasionally for my dog, she loves it.

Why would anyone want to eat that part of a cow when to get to it you gotta get past all the good stuff so why not eat that instead. Feckin wierdos.

Tripe & onions with mash - YUM.

My nan used to cook this for us every Wednesday. I loved it way before I had any idea what it was.

Haven't had it for over 12 years. I'd love to but have no idea how she used to cook it. In milk I think?
