Bitten repeatedly by a. Police dog in her own home and died a few days later.
I was under the impression that the police handler had to gives a command before a police dog would attack?
The story I've read doesn't say if the dog was destroyed after the attack or the police handler disciplined or prosecuted , I'm convinced that if it had of been my dog it would have been put down and I'd be in court.

Dogs are dogs, the police officer really fucked up here. They were searching the garden, she was bitten in her home. I believe most houses in Britain have doors that act as barriers between gardens and the interior of houses. |

They report I've read hasn't explained how or why the dog and handler came to be in the house. Only the officer in charge responded after a radio call from the handler saying the dog had bitten the pensioner ...I'd expect the dog to be leashed unless it's necessary to let it loose to chase down a suspect. |

Well it can't bolt through a locked door can it. It's risk assessment 101. |
