I just bought a new nude coloured lipstick which I’ll use for work, I like dark burgundy or red when going out.
Got me thinking though, do you have a go to? Is there any colour that's a real no go and for the fellas do you even like it? |

I never really used to notice that much if I'm honest but currently rather enjoying Her wear quite bright red lipstick when we play. Rather sexy seeing a red ring around my cock after sucking me

The only make up I wear is lipstick and all of my lipsticks are red. Varying shades of. I have one Mac that is a matte but in general I don’t like matte lipsticks I find them really drying and I tend to always wear my lipstick after I’ve put on Vaseline which spoils the matte effect anyway. Orange reds rather than blue reds are better on me I’ve found too. I am a bit of a lipstick snob, never wear it without lipliner and never put it on without a brush either. |

For work I have a nude that I wear. Usually when I’m going out it’s something bright - blue, green, purple, pink etc. Or dark, like navy blue, grey or black. |

"Do excuse an ignorant male, but isn't "nude" lipstick just skin-coloured - what's the point?"
Nude is close to lip colour, usually. One of the phrases for a good nude is "my lips but better". It smooths out the colour and adds a bit of polish, plus a hint of colour (usually beige, brown, or pink). You can see it. (it's definitely not skin toned, that makes people look horribly ill)
My nude of choice is Boots No7 in Honey Bloom, although I'm contemplating one with a little more edge. I'm in love with berries when I'm doing a statement lip, one I keep reaching for is Urban Decay Afterdark (which, nodding to another poster above, looks ridiculous on my FB's face but great on his cock). |

And I haven't got the knack of picking for myself. I end up picking a gorgeous colour that looks horrible on me! I end up going to counters and begging for help. I have reds, berries, (safe) purples, a coppery red, various pinks, and burgundy.
Apart from the truism that what looks best depends on the individual, I'm a sucker for deep red (think Urban Decay Love D*unk or Mac Ruby Woo) or burgundy. I struggle with dry lips and try to avoid mattes. |
