If a face pic is included in the profile, it suggests to me someone is not embarrassed or ashamed for it to be known they are on a website for swingers, i.e. they have nothing to hide.
What's the worst that could happen if you a drop a "hello" message?
Will the person recognise you, or do you need to add a picture to the message?
