Hope fellow fabsters can share some advice
A f/b of mine has suggested I get a daith piercing to reduce my migraine pain x
I’ve done a little research via google and it appears in some cases a faith piercing can reduce migraines x
Apparently a faith piercing which I understand is the small piece of cartilage in your ear is a pressure point x
I’m thinking worst case scenario I’m stuck with a cute piercing x
Has anyone else got such a piercing and does it work x

I’ve had one for over a year now. I don’t usually suffer from migraines, but had one a couple of weeks ago.
There’s no scientific evidence to prove that a daith would help, but if you think it would (even psychologically), it’s a cute piercing and I love mine. |

I have one. Like someone else said the healing time is very long and it's very susceptible to infection so has to be very well maintained. In first couple of weeks have to change your pillowcase daily.
I do suffer very badly from migraines. For me I'd say my migraines reduced for a few months and then went back to normal. So in my case I think it was probably the placebo effect.
I still absolutely love it though, I have a heart that sits snug in my ear and is cute so don't regret having it done.
There are some vitamins I take that have helped with the frequency and intensity of mine massively. If you'd like the names and doses, feel free to PM me

Ive done a lot of research on this as I have Cluster headaches. They seems to be more bad points than good points with the piecing. Sounds more hit and miss works for some but not others. |

Oh - I thought you were saying "death piercing" with a lisp or under the influence of Novacaine - in which case I would have recommended stabbing any vital organ or artery |
