I remember I swapped all my dads golf balls for Beer mats when I was a teenager. grounded for 2 months and no pocket money till I paid for new golf balls  |

I got wellied from front door to back door by mum when i was 15 for acting hard in front of mates. It's a long house too. Plus she's not even 5 ft. Got grounded for 2 weeks.  |

I escaped out of my bedroom window, onto the shed roof and through a hole in the fence to get to my friends house and on to a disco at the local rugby club..
I would have got back in my bedroom the same way too but my sister grassed on me and my dad was waiting in the bedroom ..
I was grounded indefinitely for that |

Fuck me, I was constantly grounded 
Out for a week then the next one grounded for a week, and my house it meant being grounded, no ifs buts or maybes just had to suck it up, no wonder I never wanted kids  |

Never been grounded by my parents. My brother tried to ground me once for sneaking into a nightclub at the grand old age of 14....His mate spotted me and rang my brother lol (no mean feat in the days before mobiles). That was the only time I've ever misbehaved.
My Dad went mad at my brother when he found out he tried to ground me lol. So was promptly ungrounded, Dad's response; "go make mistakes,if it goes tits up you only have yourself to blame" I rarely felt the need to push boundaries, and when I did, it was against an overbearing brother :D

A month me and my best mate who i class as my sis hitchhiked to norwich from gt yarmouth i was 12. Got locked in some dudes house n ended up havin the police drop us at the train station at 1am where we ended up phonin her brother to get us picked up. My mom cussed us and grounded up from going out or seeing each other for a month. We defi didnt do that again. |

When I was about 10 I was being a little shit in my bedroom with my older brother on a Saturday morning. We had dragged mattresses off the bunk beds onto the floor and were jumping onto them from the top bunk. After a while mum got annoyed and shouted at us and made same comment about wishing we would go. A couple hours later she went up my nans, as usual for a Saturday. Me and my bro packed a few bits and left a note saying “you told us to go so we have” and went for the day. Think I had 2 months for that |

I remember getting grounded but can't remember what for think i used to play music as loud as my stereo would go and get told to get out of the house
It got to the stage where i was ready to go out before she shouted up stairs |

In the 2nd year of secondary school a boy was excluded for stabbing a teacher through the hand with a compass.... all his classmates, including me, told the head teacher that if he had to go then we would go to... so we did and spent the afternoon out in the fields around the school trying to evade capture by the truant officer and his cohorts.... when I eventually got home from school my dad asked me if there was anything I wanted to tell him... whilst i stood there trying to look all innocent he pulled out a copy of the evening paper with a picture of a load of kids running in all directions... including me (you couldnt miss me ...that was the year Id had my growth spurt) I got 2 months for that but strangely nothing from the school...it turned out the teacher had done far worse to the lad and was sacked and the lad got an apology and was asked to return |

Two years when I was 16. My parents didn't stick to it though.
My mother was and is incredibly unworldly and my dad just went along with her. I'd been going to an unsuitable coffee bar 
I left home as soon as possible. |

Half an hour for being in car that my brother stole, I was 7, my brother was 12 or 13. Only time I've ever been grounded. My dad came to my room, gave me a big hug and ungrounded me. My brother got leathered and was grounded for a week  |

I got grounded for a few weeks for my school report and parents evening not being up to scratch. Grounded several times usually for a week or two for getting caught doing mischief around the village I grew up in. |

Tried to swim from Kyleakin to Kyle of Lochalsh. Had to be picked up by the ferry. Father went mad as he captained the ferry. Wasnt allowed out all summer. |
