Some people might not know this so here it goes 
If you give someone your mobile number on fab (for a meet up say) and you have your mobile number in your Facebook profile you will appear on their "people you may know" list.
So if you don't want your latest fab meet to know stuff about you or stalk you on Facebook then it mihht be worth taking your number off it.
I only post this as a safety tip as some people might be a little disturbed  |

Had it happen.
Whilst I'd happily say hello or even grab a coffee with people I've met, I'd rather that side of my life was private unless we had common interests and socialised outside FAB. |

Lol since I joined fab a few years ago this has been the "busted" moment when I found out about the cheating bastards pretending to be single but had pics with GFs on facebook.. One even thanked me for good FBI skills and apologised for wasting my time  other deleted his FB account but still uses fab.. Rats. |

Happened to me once with a "single" guy, had his number to use WhatsApp, he came up as a suggested friend on FB, took a nose at his very public profile and he'd been trying to meet me the week his wife had given birth. Needless to say didn't meet again. |

Yes similar with the one I mentioned about deleting his account straight away.. His GF has a very public FB profile and was posting pics being pregnant and then having a baby, saying she is the happiest girl in the world, having pics with him as a proud dad.. Meanwhile him posting meets on fab, showing all his bits.. Glad I never met him. Feel sorry for her and kid. |

Any friends that need my number already have it "
Also don't use the fb app and use an email address that's not linked to anything else. |

I think it can be used as a tool for validations, such as if passwords are forgotten.
What many don't realise is that to Fb etc, we and our data are the product, so the more they can acquire and cross-reference against us, the more we are worth to them. |
