My last 3 tele's have been LG. Had a 42 inch LCD (yes that long ago) then a 38 inch 3d one. Now a 43 inch LED 4k tv. To be honest I cant fault them. Never had a issue.
Also most of the actual panels inside the tv are made by Samsung. So them cheap things you get in Tesco actual are a Samsung.
I would recommend a Samsung or LG.
4k. Yes its good and picture quality is good. However this is only good if your watching something in 4k. TV channels are not 4k and only at best 1080p HD. So not really worth getting a 4k in the bedroom if your just using it to watch standard TV. Unless you can find a tele that upscales to 4k like my old 3d one did. |

Avoid ALDI's Tvs for a start. I bought 3 from them two years ago.
First one: rubbish sound and ghosting in centre image.
Second one: plug had been packed onto the screen and smashed the display.
Third one: I can't remember, but I took it back and got a refund. I got fed up returning them.
So I read a review or two and found out that John Lewis were putting their names on LG tv sets and that sealed the deal for me.
LG: SONY quality at an ALDI price. Well done to Sainsbury's for selling a 43" for £200. This was a clearance deal
Fantastic screen quality (HD ready) and the speakers are quite good as well. I have an LG soundbar, that matches it. But the TV speakers are so good, I forget to switch my sound bar on.
LG? Hell yeah! Just buy it!

Will do, i reckon 43 inch is big enough for bedroom. I could watch porn and then get loads of blomonge and just get amongst it. |

Good stuff banana lad, what the fuck is 8k? "
I have a 4K and picture quality is so good that you can really see the nipples under the dress..

Sony
Nothing comes close in quality and functions.
All 5 of my TV's are sony. Wouldn't consider anything other
Samsung and lg are alright but not as good. Stay away from the rest. Unless hi sense some are ok.
The least faulty TV's we get are sony, all the rest get issues, Samsung usually screens issues.
Work for the company who the shops send them to when returned or damaged. |

"Sony 4k jobby..wont dissapoint
Will check them out. Cheers mate. "
I have a Sony 48in and a Samsung 48in. I always used to be a committed Sony fan but now I'd always say Go for Samsung, far better and the user software is so much easier.
Also remember that Sony has sold its TV division so if you buy one now you are not actually getting a Sony.
As a TV i speak feom the heart. |

I agree with all this...I always buy LG and I would definitely get a smart TV. ..size wise depends on the size of the room ...4k great as long as you have the content but 4k coming down in price these days so might be worth future proofing or get Netflix 4k subscription |
