They probably cost no more than a couple of pounds to manufacture them - why not make two sizes of the same phone. Didn't Samsung do that with the Galaxy? (not a tech genius here!) |

No.
Make a consumer product that people and society require.
Invest huge amounts of money in the design of said item within the limitations that are impossed by it functionality.
Manufacture the product.
Get the product to market.
Sit back and count the money.
Oh yeah, listen to feminist moan its too big for their dainty hands. Can they not employ a big strong burly man to carry it and press the screan for them or even hold it for them whilst they press the screen.
Or have i got the completely the wrong end of the stick about feminists.

I’m on an old model iPhone for exactly this reason. Female friends have complained about it being difficult to hold their bigger phones. I don’t know what I’ll do when the smaller models go out of production. |

Surely men, women and anyone alike has the choice to buy whatever product they want. If it's too big and difficult to carry or use then buy another one.
The fact that people buy something because of a name and not the product is the issue not the product itself. If people didn't buy them because of these reasons then they would have to alter their design and win back the market they lost |

It’s almost as though they’ve completely ignored that iPhones come in different sizes, ignored that other phone manufacturers also make big phones, and this story is being peddled under Any Excuse To Bitch About Apple Again. |

Oh this is ridiculous!
The phones are big though! I went from an iPhone 5s to a 7 Plus and my hand ached for a month straight as I had to get used to the size! And although my palm is small I have long fingers! |

Looking at your great pics it's not the size of hands we guys would complain about, it's about having only 2 hands which is not enough to do all those lovely curves justice. |

I dunno what this thread is about, I haven’t read it, but remember when mobiles were getting smaller and smaller and you thought when’s it gonna end, until they’re got so small you couldn’t see them. Now they’re bloody massive, the size of flat screen TVs. Is this relevant I haven’t read the thread ?
I’m just winging it, I guess we all are in our own way, just winging it that is, clinging to this rock in space, in the cosmos, floating in the ether.
Did the universe form out of a black hole ? Not sure

Could be. It does seem an odd story. I have a few men friends who prefer smaller phones. They're not bothered about brands. |
