Yes. I always reply to first mails anyway. But if I was mailing them first, the lack of pics doesn't bother me at all. If I'm interested because of their profile text then I mail them.
I want to meet *people*. I don't use the site as some kind of catalogue of fucks. Picking someone to fuck just from a few pics just leaves me cold. I'm interested in the person. People aren't meat. |

But only if there are a couple of pics in the gallery, doesn't have to have one selected as profile, but does make it easier to identify folk on the message threads rather than having to remember user names.

I think some men assume that a woman with no pics will be hideous and so desperate. Now they can see you're neither, it will probably change the type and quantity of messages you get.  |

I've actually only sent the first mail once and it was his pic that first attracted me so no. It's very very unlikely I'd even read the profile if there's no pic. |

I am 99% certain that I have emailed a profile with no picture, however it is likely to have been someone through the forums.
