Is it only me that feel it's rude when someone contacts a couple and only acknowledges one of them.
When we message we always introduce ourselves to the couple not just one of them ? |

Thats because they are shallow and only interested in one half of the couple. Not all are like you with manners. |

Lack of manners I suppose
It's annoying us as well. Read and delete. If same person will send again the same message - block. We are adults and should have manners in my opinion

A lot of couples profiles do only have pics of one partner (normally the female) and are often written from one viewpoint. It's not a massive leap to think that some men take it as they are talking to the female with a +1 rather than a couple.. |

When we had a couples profile we never had any messages to just one of us, they were always addressed to both of us. Our profile pic was of us both and we had equal pics of us.
If someone had ever mailed addressing just one of us we wouldn't have bothered with them. We weren't compatible.
I think of mails that I don't like as a positive because it means no time wasted for either of us. |

I tend to only meet couples, because that is my preference. So of course, in a first message i always refer to both, usually by name if they have that on there profile. I always assume i am talking to both unless in a message exchange the husband or wife tells me otherwise. To me, as a single guy looking to meet couples, it's very important that i talk to both husband and wife. |
