I'm a big movie buff, but ever since I became sexually active I've wrestled with a problem around them and finally I've decided to ask you guys for your takes:
Why is that you can watch one human kill another in a film and it be given a 12 rating, but to depict one human having sex with another lands an instant 18? Is it really more morally acceptable to murder another human being than to fuck them?
That doesn't seem right to me, so why is everybody-on-here's favourite hobby so frightening to some people? |

It’s probably down to how graphic the kill scene is as to what rating it gets . If it’s someone shot and it’s not to graphic it’s a 12 day but a film like saw which is very graphic would be an 18 . In terms of Sex if the scene is under the covers no boob on show it’s 12 but if a couple was graphicly fucking on screen it’s an 18 . That’s how I presume it to be |

I agree that's how they judge these things, but why is a graphic sex act seen as equal with murder?
"Which would you rather have performed on you?" would def be a dumb question on here, but that's kind of where my point is going. |
