Is it bad in the site to message people who have viewed your profile but not messages you?

Depends how you message them to be honest - send an "I see you viewed me, so thought it must mean you are interested" type message then no.

Spin it on it's head and something like "Your viewing my profile prompted me to look at yours and I liked what I saw so thought I'd message, but appreciate there could be any number of reasons you viewed me" followed by an introduction and an invite to chat more - might work in some cases.

Either way a view should never be taken as an indication of interest.

I know this I was just curious other people’s views. Also told guys boanket email people on threads aswell?

Yes they do, most then delete their profile when nobody responds.
