Blake 7, Tiswas, cartoons on a saturday morning, going bottling with my cousin and splitting the "money back" off Corona pop bottles.
Once got a thck ear for doing that, cos we used to sell them to the guy at the corner shop, and then go back later when he had stacked them out the back in crates and nick a few, go round the front and sell them back again, My cousin got greedy and sent me around with a whole crate..... stupid me didnt realise the shop name was stencilled on the crate lol! |

The disappearence of white dog poo is down to what dogs eat these days.
White dog poo is the calcium left behind as the water evaporates, and the 'organic' components of the crap are consumed (in various ways) leaving the inorganic stuff behind.
Historically, before BSE came along, butchers used to dish out bones for dogs to munch on.
But nowadays dogs don't eat as much bone as they used to, including bone meal. This all got the lid shoved on it due to the BSE crisis. Also, tighter regulation on dogs crapping on pavements means that turds don't hang around for years in public places like they used to, giving them less opportunity to dry out and turn white.

thing i loved the most as a kid was going to my grans and feeding the chickens, we used to go and gather the eggs and she'd always give us some to take home and my mum would boil them up and make soldiers for tea, they always tasted so much better when you collected them yourself from grans house lol |

Granny's treat at Italian Cafe of ice cream soda.
Clootie dumpling.
