Pilates was one of a few things that helped me sort my back out after injuring it bad enough to need to learn to walk again. For flexibility and core strength I don't think you could do any worse than either of them |

Have been doing Pilates in class once a week for 7 years. It's made all the difference to my posture, strength and flexibility. It's important though to find a fully qualified teacher. Google the national Pilates association or whatever they call themselves to find a local teacher.
You will probably find you are outnumbered by women ( a side benefit!) |

Tried Pilates once, wasn’t for me.
However, have practiced yoga for 4 years now, both with a teacher and at home.
Love yoga and the feeling it gives of being at peace.
I’ve not made any untoward noises in either, why would you? |
