Afternoon all, I've had all my veris removed because I allegedly verified a fake profile, if it's the profile I'm thinking of then I admit to not meeting them but I certainly spoke to a female and male separately on the phone, I had 32 veris over 3 to 4 years, I've contacted Admin to plead my case, any thoughts ??? |

Not sure there's a lot you can plead to - phone veris are no longer valid, and if you admit to not having actually met these people or seem them on webcam you don't really have a leg to stand on.
You may also be laying yourself open to further censure by posting about it too - I'd just accept the punishment and be done with it. |

But they could still not be the person in the photos!
You have 2 options for verifying people, webcam or person. It even tells you when you choose to verify them that you can't verify by phone call |

I imagine the profile has been reported for being fake by someone else and admin have looked into the issue and has reason to believe it’s true and cottoned on to your verification and thus stripped you of yours 
Sorry OP maybe try contact admin directly I know someone this happened to before x |

yes all my veris have gone, I had 31 I think, I've checked people I've verified and they are still showing, I just think it's a bit harsh  |

I would accept the punishment as harsh as it may seem but it is what it is.
Contact those that had verified you to see if the verification still shows in ones they have given. Copy & paste jobby & job done |

I spoke to both of them on the phone, I verified them as meeting in person, I guess that's my crime, I hadn't actually met them although I believed them to be genuine people. |

But you hadn't met them so didn't know if they were who they were showing themselves as. If you gaff 31 veris before I'm sure it won't be hard to get the ball rolling again. |

Yes, you broke the rules, do you think they've been unfair to you? And its one of the most important ones, saves other users wasting loads of time and possibly money. |

And there will be obvious doubt all of your 31 veris were 100% real too, we're they, or were some of them "he seemed OK on the phone so I'll lie" veris too.
Not often I agree with admin, lol, but this time 100%.
Actually surprised you weren't just perms banned. Think you've been pretty lucky, it's one of the fundamental things to try and make this site useful and viable. |

You are only supposed to verify by cam or meet. If you chose to verify, without seeing that they looked like their pics, that is on you. There is a reason for the verification process. A male and a female voice does not male those pictures genuine. Lesson learned, I'd wager. |

Lesson very much learned, I won't be verifying anyone now unless they are standing squarely in front of me, the couple I did verify wrongly were damned convincing I'll give them that, some odd characters here. |

Surprised and disappointed that you haven't been chucked off the site. Your type are a key component to the biggest problems with the site.
Seems like a defence of naivety will let you get away with it which isn't a good look for the site. |
