On the news today they were advising 45-65 (I think that was the ages) to have at least two alcohol free days a week.
I’ve had two bottles of beer since Christmas. It doesn’t bother me and I am happy to stick to soft drinks when out. It’s for health reasons too that I just decided I’d sooner not drink nowadays. |

I went to a festival yesterday so I’ve over shot my 45-65 unit allowance this week. |

"I would say I'm a binge drinker. I don't drink very often but when I do it's to get d*unk. "
Yeah I'm the same - don't drink often but when I do it's normally a skinful - last time was July and next time isn't likely to be any time soon. |

"This forum thread is brought to you by the Temperance Movement!
I just wondered if it was a sign I’m getting old. "
I don't think it's an age thing, a health thing yes.
I drink too much, but it helps drown out the screams from my passengers! |

"I’m pretty much tee total! Like the odd one now and again but few and far between "
Yeah, I put social drinker because non drinker is a lie, but I'm at the very low end of that. (I don't judge what others do) |

I used to drink about 10 pints on a night out at the weekend, now quite a few of ma mates have sadly passed away with alcohol related problems, so I don't drink that much these days.
Phil Lynott still owes me a pint as well the bastard |

"Over the course of a year about three bottles of cava or champagne and about six pub measures of spirits.
Just special occasions then? "
On holiday mostly. We make a point of starting each morning with bucks fizz. .
We used to drink beer and wine most evenings at home but various medication put paid to that most enjoyable pastime |

Generally 4 units a week. Some weeks, none at all, others a little more, but I can't remember when I last had 14 units. Well under the recommended limits. |

I will have a brandy with coffee some evenings, wine or a small beer with a meal. Pretty light really. I've never been d*unk or had a hangover, real lightweight. |

Yeah credit due, they're not doing too bad this season, but you need to get caught on Sky Sports eating a pie like Mark did |

When we have friends round to get trashed, the right amount to get absolutely trollied. Then we all go to bed and I have to look after everybody all day. It's fun, lol.
But otherwise depends on the event. |

I rather partial to a nice gin, I probably drink far too much of it, if I'm honest.
Only ever had 2 hangovers in my life.
1st was at a festival 2yrs ago involved lumpy scrumpy, the 2nd the local rum in the Carribean last year.

I haven’t had a drink in about s year now for medical reasons but can still have a good time without alcohol
Seen the state some women in clubs get in to then don’t know what they’re doing and can’t remember what they did the next day which is quite worrying
Inked x |

I rarely drink, I'm usually driving. On holiday I might have had 1 or 2 a day but I'm seriously a lightweight, 2 glasses of wine and I'm anyones
Cheffy has a beer or two if we are out but rarely more than that.
Neither of us drink alcohol at home. |
