Been having a text argument with an ex fb, who wanted a 'coffee'! No how are you, no what have you been up to, just fancy meeting and having sex. Oh fuck off! Then, asked if he could pay me. FFS! Totally ripped his head off. He was never interested in me, but only sex. Told him to a prostitute who won't care. Talk about objectification!!! |

Sorry to say but some men are only interested in sex.
I wouldn't of got into an argument about it, I'd of just said "sorry but I know my worth, and you're not worthy of me" and left it at that.
Better luck in finding men who treat you with more respect. |

But isn’t that what a Fuck buddy is?
If you want a cheery friendly social natter first isn’t that a friend with benefits?
(I’m saying with tongue slightly in cheek, of course! But isn’t a FB just a go-to shag without the niceties of a FWB?) |

FB being friend with benefits or fuck buddy?
If a friend they'd ask how you are if a fuck buddy than what's the matter imo.
Sorry if that sounds bad op |

"So your ex fuck buddy fancied a fuck ?
Shock , horror !
What’s this world coming to "
Its not that, the offer of money for a fuck probably caused offence . possibly said to hurt . |

I've had buddies disappear for months or years then pop up asking to meet. If the sex was good enough and I feel like having sex I'll say yes. If not, I tell them I'm too busy with the men I met since we last met. |

"If anyone wants to buy me a coffee, and pay me for sex, I'm cool with that."
Ok, but none of those fancy coffee places that sell overpriced stuff.
Sex is 50p an hour. |

Don't agree with offering to pay for sex but I thought the whole point of fuck buddies was just nsa hook ups when horny without any hassle, a booty call.
Difference between that and a fwb is an ongoing friendship with an interest in each others lives, who would socialise as well as fuck.
Or do I have it all wrong? |

I think what the OP is saying she had not heard form her ex FWB for a long time. Then he suddnely pops up again and asks for sex. There was no hi, how are you long time no see, what have you been up to, etc. He didn't just ask for sex he asked to pay her for sex.
I don't get why people can't see this guy was very insulting to the OP and a cheeky bastard. |

I clearly say in the first line I don't agree with offering to pay for sex but some people wouldn't find a message from a fb asking if they fancied a fuck massively insulting, some would see that as the point of a fb rather than a fwb.

I had this with an ex FB. I don't mind so much the long silence, but I'm in it for me, so if he can't be arsed turning up to put out when I need some, I sure as hell won't be dropping everything to service him when he pops up.
I guess that's why he's an ex FB. It's a two way street after all, and if I'm not getting my needs meet, I'm going to help him out! |

No I get this. Manners and some form of interest eg name is great. A fuck buddy is someone you meet regularly, you’re polite and friendly towards so many people, why not someone you play with? Don’t think OP is particularly bothered about them remembering the name of her childhood guinea pig or favourite song, just a little respect |

What do you expect from a fuck buddy? Trade in and trade up for a friend with benefits |
