So life if a funny old thing, one minute things are going along fine,a small issue Pop's up but hey it's no Biggie I can handle this, then another and another and another..

Suddenly you are in a position where everything seems to be going sideways and it seems totally out of your power to stop it.

My thing at the moment is I feel like no matter how hard I try not to I keep saying the wrong things and end up making things worse.

Do others have these problems?

Could you be over analysing things?

It's not that uncommon when we feck up or go through a bad spell making decisions etc that we become overly critical and sensitive to such things..

Putting what we've done in perspective or looking at them in a list and some may not be so bad..

Close friends help at such times, hope this patch your going through ends soon..

I'm currently having a year like this. But it's not things I'm saying, it's shit happening like the passing of a relative, illness, house problems, ex problems, then one more thing happened and it was just too much. Ended up sobbing at my GP.

You're not alone. x

Can you find positives in it all somewhere?

It's a feeling I know only too well ... if you let anxiety get a hold of you too then the world suddenly becomes a much darker place.

I'm a really practical, pragmatic logical guy 95% of the time

I have the ability to break down problems, separate them and deal with them as they need to be dealt with.

5% of the time , however, my head wobbles and I feel like nothing can be sorted, it's all linked and I am doomed.

Most of my adult life has been like this

I am here now, 30 years later, nothing has gone majorly wrong for me. I have sorted or dealt with the challenges life has thrown at me.

All I can say is get on with doing whatever you do daily and deal with things when you feel stronger and better equipped to deal with it.

Trust me, the road ahead is clearer than your head is allowing you to see right now.

Yes. It’s just one thing after another at the moment. Only way I can describe it is that my head is so full it just can’t absorb anything else! Problem is when its like that even the tiniest thing can have you losing the plot or crying your eyes out! And the absolutely worst thing anyone can say is pull yourself together.

I've got one of those situations at the moment. An admin error three years ago has just landed me with a *lot* of tidying up to do. Several small issues have managed to snowball into several much bigger issues and landed on me all at once.

Probably fixable, but the next new weeks/months are going to be a bit difficult
