All day today i have been extremely emotional over daft things. I just dont get it.
Spoke to my daughter about a nothing subject that involved my mother and welled up. Its not like she has passed away or anything.
Watching a cookery program right now and welled up when the chef was awarded a 10!.
What the hell is going on with me? Male menopause? |

Age and hormones. I’ve had it a few times. Might sound silly but sometimes a good cry can work really well, alternatively stop watching gossip girl, get to the gym and have a protein shake |

Make sure you don't have acute stress or going into depression. Many years ago I didn't know why I was getting emotional as I'm not like that at all. Go on line and have a look at the questions for depression and see what your score is or contact your GP and talk about it. Depression if understood early will be easier to work through. Well I say easier, its not an easy thing at all really but just chose those word to express what I'm talking about really. Or as the layman in the street who knows nothing about it would say 'pull yourself together man'. Seriously though get yourself checked out.

Never actually thought about it like that and admitedly started this as a light hearted thread but with a bit of desperation in it. But damn, stress? Yes totally of late. So maybe that is it.
Thanks will have a peek online to see what i can find.

Doctor diagnosed me with acute stress as was going through a really challenging time in my life many many years ago, which ended up with depression. I was crying for no reason and didn't understand what was going on. All very similar to what you said. Was a very weird feeling at the time and didn't understand what the f##k was going on. What made it even more weird was good things were going on as well as the bad things. When I say good things, I mean really good things. Was the start of my life with Mrs F |
