I don’t know about the rest of the men on here but I don’t look like an extra from The Walking Dead.
I put the ground work in sending messages to a lady I find appealing and then when it comes to a face swap picture it’s radio silence.
I understand that the lady’s have hundreds of messages on here and they can’t answer them all, but if they have asked for a picture then shouldn’t they at least have the manners to say ‘no thanks you’re not for me’?

I usually say "thanks but regret not my type" before blocking. It can of course happen to women as well! I have just had a man tell me I'm not his type. Not a problem, again just block and move on. |

OP have you thought about sending a face pic earlier on in messaging?
It may not change the eventual outcome but would speed it up a little. That way you wouldn't be quite so invested in the conversation and less disappointed that it didn't work out as you hoped. |

I got a message off a man complimenting my “fat cock” and asking me to stick it up his arse. I just deleted it as I’m not gay, only for him to message again saying I could at least reply and calling me a wanker. I simply told him to fuck off then blocked the idiot. |

Someone who doesn’t respond doesn’t mean they don’t have any manners.
When you respond on here with a “No thanks good luck in your search” it’s very likely that someone will take offence and send you a barrage of abuse, even go as far as to make a new profile to do it again when you block them.
So it is much easier to not reply and delete. That usually means they aren’t interested, so best to move onto the next one. |

Maybe you are not as aesthetically pleasing as you think. It is often said if you can't think of anything nice to say don't say anything at all. If you are sending lots of pictures out then something is stopping people responding pop to your bathroom put a bigger wattage bulb in the fitting and have a good look in the mirror. |

I used to do this. But it didn't take me long to learn that for every 10 men I turn down politely, about 4 will reply and try to argue with me. |

Try to treat others how you would like to be treated thats my moto doesnt always work. Ive not had any problems with guys after sending a polite message. However if its obvious they havent read my profile or its a quick uninteresting message with no effort or a copy and paste then I do delete.

If you walked down the street and everyone you passed said 'good day' 'hello' or some other greeting and you ignored them, you be called an ignorant twat or some other more unpleasant names. Verbal and written is still communication. Not replying is bad manners however you look at it! |

If I've been chatting to someone and they're localish, tick my other boxes so to speak and they've sent me a face pic after being asked I will always respond. Either with a polite sorry not for me or a ooooooo hello ,and I'll send them mine. If a random has sent one and there's no way I'll want to meet them sometimes I do, sometimes I don't reply.
It's best to get the face swap out of the way early on in my experience. |

I'm only looking for guys but wouldn't block other groups from messaging me because in the past I've had some great chats started via PM with others based on forum posts. I'd rather not stop that happening so it's not such a simple answer. |

literally makes no sense talking about it, its not gonna change anything. If they like you they'll reply, if not they wont. Some reply with a 'no thanks', some just read and not reply, and some read and delete it. i advise you go clubs, much more social. I used to get 1 reply from every 20-30 msgs i sent out and eventually got tired. I barely send anything now, and if i do its a wink. cant be bothered, ill save it for the clubs |

You choose who you send a message to and the receiver chooses who to reply to! On fab no reply means no thanks, just block and move along........... I used to reply to every message I got and in my experience about half of those no thanks messages I sent it would attract negative messages back!

A slightly different way of asking is it rude to not reply..
I send very few prospective messages, I search for ladies it's not often I find ones I'm 1) attracted to 2) looking for the same things..
My mailbox might not be overflowing however more often than not I let ladies initiate contact..it's in my profile if they do face pictures attached please..puts the decision of reply ignore delete in your hands... anyone can say no thanks op
I've said it often folk should have a profile that informs and hopefully entices the reader of their wants and desires.. that way folk that are searching can make an informed decision about contacting ...
If I do initiate contact I attach my face picture on the initial message saves wasting time. |

Whilst that would be the ideal - sadly, as has been said/shown upthread, all too often a "nice" reply with rejection can often lead to some vile and abusive responses - usually from those that have incorrect expectations and a sense of entitlement so I can understand totally why people choose to just read/delete and treat messages that are of no interest the same way they would junk mail.
There is also the thing that once you've messaged someone once, it overrides any future filters you may set - so by sending a thanks but no thanks it leaves things open to further messages unless you block, in which case you then get "I got blocked" type whines on the forums instead of "I didn't get a reply" ones. |

I have face pics in friends only pics and have found that you chat to people for awhile and build a bit of a connection. Then the face pic subject arises. Now i am well aware that i am not brad pitt or george cloony and send or invite as a friend depending on how things have been going. Sometimes its all good and other times its the same - nothing back.
Now i am not complaining in anyway and realise the odds are stacked. When i recoeve a face pic and decide that they are not for me i reply saying so and on occassion have still continued with chatting. Admittedly though i am not inundated with messages like many of the women on here and as such can afford the time to be polite about it |

I find it's best to just put your face out there right from the get go op... No point taking the time getting to know someone a bit only to be disappointed if you turn out not to be attracted to one another.
Plus I think my face is probably one of my best features, so why not lead with that? |

Surely it’s best to attach a face pic with the first message, you can set it so that the pics delete once the message has been read I think, it saves the hassle of messaging then realising you don’t fancy each other once pics have finally been sent, I be like me and get ya mush out |

The list of rude just generally nasty messages is endless and seems to be getting more frequent. When I first joined 6yrs ago the abuse after rejection was in the minority most would just reply with stuff like ‘thanks happy fabbing’ but I’ve past year or two I’ve found the majority will reply with nasty rubbish. I think it’s because the site is becoming more of a ‘instant sex/fuck n go’ site and there’s less swingers on here than used to be. Swingers tend to enjoy the social aspect, don’t expect instant meets and like getting to each other build up a connection which in turn means they understand if they’re not someone’s cuppa tea therefore just take a ‘no thx’ on the chin |
