Exactly. And as we saw in another thread earlier today, some people on here are only too happy to share others pictures with people who aren't on the site, so anyone could potentially see them. |

I see how that could be an issue... but I don't think anyone I know would be surprised if someone showed them a picture of me on here... I'm very open with people.
On another note, I decide not to show any particularly graphic pictures unless they're to friends. Therefore I keep it somewhat page 3 rated unless I've had a better interaction and there's a little more trust... |

Theres sites with video pic compilations screen shot from fab... if we wanted our images out and about we'd use a certain cam site and make money.  obviously we don't want that so we send them when we need to! Xx |

I'd have no issue showing my face on a dating site, but my profile here shows bits of my body that don't get seen in the office - and (when I'm actually swinging) info about what I like, don't like, verifications etc. Call me a prude but I wouldn't want my colleagues to see any of that.

There’s lots of stigmas attached to “this site” and many a reason why people don’t show face pics. I’d say infidelity, privacy, and stigma being in the top 3! It’s easy to say “I’m not ashamed “ it’s not about that. It’s about if someone takes screen shots and then passes them on to someone else and then someone else enevitably ending up on a work colleagues or family members phone or ex’s or similar. It’s just something i personally don’t want to risk and not because I’m embarrassed, me personally it’s because I have respect for my children’s feelings. |

It's not about being ashamed. If we were to use a regular dating site we wouldn't combine face pics with body pics there either. I wouldn't want my neighbour to recognise me and see pictures of me naked as I know that person in a social context, where it's not socially acceptable to share details of that nature (or have them stumbled upon!) |

Is it not obvious? Anyone can get a profile on here. Including reporters. There have been a few cases where reporters have created profiles on here for stories about swingers. People have families, I certainly wouldn't want my parents or children knowing what i get up to in private.
Many people arent nice. Can you imagine living in a small community and being recognised..especially if you have spurned someone's advances and they don't like it.
People have jobs where being in this lifestyle could put a career at risk, even if not directly but could make things awkward.
Fab is a public forum, same as Facebook. Pretty sure 99.9% of people don't put naked pictures of themselves or lost sexual preferences or glowing reviews of their sexual prowess on any other public social media.
This site is about respect and privacy. People show what they are comfortable with. |

How strange, I’ve just within 5 mins received a text from my kids dad saying someone sent him a pic of me from a “swingers” site and he’s mortified that someone showed him that.
I’ve just asked him to send me the pics as I don’t show my face very often, occasionally I do but not often. |

We have some in our friends pictures or for people we're talking to about meeting but that's about as public as we'll get. It's far too easy for randoms to abuse one's trust in them on here

I take the reverse psychology approach I appear to have nothing to hide so I don’t therefore there’s nothing seedy worth exposing for the people that get a kick out of doing it

It's not about being seen on here..it's about being seen across the whole internet..we have grown up children ..it would only take one of their friends to be on here or anyother site we are on to recognise Diane..download the picture and say post it on facebook or send it to one of our grown up boys via a PM, or maybe use it against them or us.We do have a responsibility for others not just ourselves..like family and friends..it's OK being free and easy with your pics if you have no kids or young kids. But the pictures you post now, especially naked ones with face..could come back and haunt you years down the line..there really is no need to have public face pics on sites like this. Show them privately.. |

Yes he has a very prolific job, we’ve not been together for yrs though. Obviously on the one time I’ve been online and had my face pic open someone has linked us and I’m assuming it’s been sent to his older son then to him (I’m guessing) but he wasn’t funny just said it’s my life etc but people associate me with him as we’ve kids and imagine if kids seen pics. Which I fully agree. Just feeling a bit !  at the min |

Sorry to explain, what’s happened I’m assuming is, I’ve been online and had my face pic on “public” but someone has recognised me as being linked to my ex. I’m assuming he’s screen shot my pics (as my ex sent them to me and I could clearly see they were sent to him from someone else. ) and then sent them to my ex’s son ( big age gap between myself and my ex so his sons 33) and they’ve said isn’t this **** your dads ex! Plus we’ve 2 kids together, |

You should confront the person you sent them to...or if you haven't met them ask your ex who sent them. Fight fire with fire. I foolishly gave my number to the first meet I had and told him a bit about myself. He kept phoning me and phoned my work one day. So I made a different profile. I Hid my number and sent a few anonymous texts saying I'd throw a brick through his window if he kept bullying women on line AND I would call to the the house when his wife was in if he didn't stop pestering women on fab. (I wouldn't have done any of those things. But he shit himself because he didn't know who it was)and I blocked his number and learned my lesson. I never received either a call or a text from him since. Hope you're ok. I know what that knot in the stomach feels like. |

It’s not as easy as that. They weren’t sent directly to him! They were sent through someone via someone who knows someone who recognised me who knows his son!! See it’s easily done. |

It’s partly my fault! I had face pics on my profile previously when I was online. Obviously someone has recognised me. And screen shot them, along with my other pics. I’ve never had explicit pics anyway put they were proagitive. |

Personally..I think they have do the right thing now, by keeping none nude face pics as their public photos..
The photos that are now on show are very sexy anyway without any nudeness ..
Of course its upto each account holder how they run theirs..but glad to see they have taken the advice and suggestions on board that was given by others.

I went to an organised social in my home town a couple of years ago. When I got there, ordered a drink, then sat at the bar as a text message came in. The message was warning me NOT to go to the social, from a couple I know, as they were warned by other friends, that their kids knew about the social, were chattering in Facebook about it, and were planning on going down to ‘see what swingers look like’. Imagine just one of your face pics, taken as a screenshot, then posted on Facebook |

I'd never post anything here (photo wise) that I wouldn't be happy to share on social media

Some lizard decided to send my pictures to a family friend who, in her wisdom, showed other women in a social group my mothers a part of. My mother didn’t give a shit about the nature of the pictures but was more bothered that her friends had seen them. Having none up for public saves any more awkward situations like that |

I have no problems showing my face as family and friends already know what I’m into. I don’t show naked pics, they would be kept in a private folder. I don’t have children and my niece and nephew are older and think it’s funny anyway. |

I went to an organised social in my home town a couple of years ago. When I got there, ordered a drink, then sat at the bar as a text message came in. The message was warning me NOT to go to the social, from a couple I know, as they were warned by other friends, that their kids knew about the social, were chattering in Facebook about it, and were planning on going down to ‘see what swingers look like’. Imagine just one of your face pics, taken as a screenshot, then posted on Facebook "
I don’t think anyone on my Facebook would be surprised. I understand for many that would be awful. |
