Have you had your details stolen by hackers, who've hacked into any of the major organizations who've been compromised? British Airways have just notified to me that my details are likely hacked, due to recent purchases.
It's always inconvenient losing cards etc but especially so if you're due to travel or are away. The banks typically say up to 5 working days to get a new card. (Amex give a 24 hours courier worldwide).
They've got home and contact info, so assume hackers will send a Fancy a fuck message and cock pics.
If you had it, from any of the other hacks, how did it go? |

I had a debit card cloned (I presume) abroad on holiday.
Some months later my bank rang me to check if I’d bought around £750 worth of goods the day before in the country I holidayed in all those months back.
Luckily the bank were excellent, they never debited my account while they investigated, and closed it off within about a week with no charges at all to my account! |

That's good for them to not debit the suspect transactions.
I'm a little uncomfortable that they have personal details, address. Email, phone number DOB etc. My cards cancelled but flying tomorrow I'm card-less. I think British airways should offer to support me with expense accounts whilst away. |

Six years ago, my mail was, unknown to me, opened by a colleague who, it later transpired, was a Conman wanted across the world for masses of Credit Card cloning & other similar crimes.
It took about 6 weeks for my Bank's Security and Fraud Dept to call me to ask where I was? I advised them I was in Slough at work, and had my GM confirm it, only to be told, that my details were being used in the Far East in attempts to set up Loans, Mortgages and other financial items.
The Bank had become very suspicious when my card was shown to be used simultaneously in Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore!!
Obviously the card was cancelled and a new one sent me but I was advised a couple of months later that attempts were made using my details to the tune of almost $1.2m!
Turned out the conman had stolen the card details of dozens of our hotel guests over his 6 months in his job on Reception!! Serious Fraud Office investigations took months; he did a runner and has never been caught! |
