Well i see it as the equivalent as a hi. But us men get piss bored of sending messages to people that just delete. With make it good. Suprise me. Bollox lol. |

Look at it from a woman's perspective. My inbox could be a full time job if I let it become one. I try to put in most thought and effort to those who put most into me. No, that doesn't always mean I'll reply to even well written well considered messages (because rejecting someone opens me up to abuse). But if I don't have time for the copy paste messages or the one liners, I have even less time for someone who's just clicked a button.
Some people use them. I think it's better when people use them to wink at men, because they're usually not drowning. But I don't. |

I always respond to , a wink , or someone just saying "hi" , I treat it like if someone says "hello" to me as we pass on the street , , however I do appreciate that if I was one of the lady's (or gents or couples on here) being inundated with winks it could be difficult and time consuming , in which case I would probably put the message "thanks for your winks" as my update ,,, having said that it is very unusual for me to send a wink , would rather send a message |

We don't often respond to winks simply because at least 9 out of 10 have obviously not read (or chose to ignore) our profile.
However we nearly always take a look at the profile of who has sent it and if we think there is a realistic chance of us meeting then we will respond.
However because of our location, which is clearly spelled out in our profile, these are very few. |

I never respond to, it even check my winks. I sometimes wink at guys (very rarely though) if I like the look but maybe think I don’t fit his criteria, giving him the opportunity to read my profile and decide for himself. I never expect a response ever! |

If I like the look of the person who has winked at me, I'll wink back - then leave it to them! The trouble is, very often it's from a profile with no pics and very little filled in - so there's nothing to wink back to! lol |

I respond but as a single male my inbox is not inundated.
Coupled and females picking up 200 emails a day won't have the time.
I suspect 90% of the profiles on here are single males, (or couples accounts where the only poster is a male).
