The past 6 years I’ve done two degrees: BA in Archaeology and Ancient History and MA in Cultural Archaeology, both at Birmingham. Being a mature student, many of the students were much younger than me, but there were a few dishy lecturers and some loons, too!
I have a place at Sheffield to do an MSc, but will probably defer for unexpected personal reasons. |

I'm going into my third year this year. At 26 i'm in a position where I find some of the students and some of the lecturers attractive. |

Up North from where I come from.
The best bit? The life - and lady! - lessons I learnt after leaving my home village as a naive simple country boy at 18, and becoming a man! |

Most of the students were around my son’s age! However, it didn’t stop me being friends with them and having some nice nights out! |

"Finished by OU History degree 2 years ago......thinking of an MA as like many above, I feel learning is an addiction. "
I think learning history can become quite addictive, as there’s so many time periods and events to choose to learn. It’s so interesting learning what our ancestors did, how we evolved and how much information we can gain from archaeology. But I’m biased, being an archaeologist! |

I didn’t go to uni when I should have.
I started OU in 2014 and completed Levels 1 & 2 in general humanities. Decided I wanted to try brick uni and I start at Lancaster this term to study English and History from year 2. Actually really bloody nervous to be honest |

Loughborough, twice, MSc in mechanical engineering and an MSc in Materials Science. Both as a mature student so didn't do the full uni experience. It was a means to an end to further my career. |

"Bradford. It was cheap, and the curry was fantastic. The course was pretty good too."
The curries in Bradford were not only 5 star but cheap as chips...as it were! Good courses at Bradford as well - was the night life any good? |
