In his younger days didn't like anything he did, but since I changed to listening to R2 a few years ago I've enjoyed his breakfast show. I suspect Sara Cox or Zoe Ball may be in the running as new breakfast host. |

"Perhaps a female presenter I like Sarah cox when she steps in now and again on the breakfast show
Or Zoe Ball? Jo Whiley? Both naturals IMHO"
With the BBC being on a equality drive chance are it will most likely be a woman, which is fine with me, as I don't listen to radio 2 anyway. |

I switched from R2 when Evans took over. His shouty voice, the way he talks over the beginning of a record, then talks over the end of it. His voice is like white noise. Wogan was a genius. I remember a line from one of his "listeners" like Mick Sturbs, "I bought some self assembly furniture recently. Two weeks later and I'm still waiting". Nowadays I listen to Absolute 80s. Depends on what shift I'm on at work. |

"I had to endure 2 years of Radio 2 as my last boss wouldn't let us change it in the office, it's such an old fart station, just the mention of it makes me start yawning!" your lucky radios are banned on our site |

Chris Evans doesn’t seem to stay in a position for a long time
He quit top gear
Now he’s quit radio 2
Never really been a fan of chris Evans, and I think he’s overrated.
And VERY lucky to be paid a fortune for a job he should be grateful for, and a job which most people would love to do.
I also think he’s always been a bit of a douchebag.

He is an arrogant conceited little sod but unfortunately a bloody good broadcaster....he also seems to be very wiley about getting rubbish dj’s like Mark Goodyer to stand in for him while he’s away....again. Mark Radcliffe gets my vote just because I like his northern brogue |

"Put Jo Wiley on it. She's so unbelievably indie drone dull and has ruined the evening slot with Simon Mayo. (I'm rarely up that early so wouldn't care )
"
Completely agree - apart that I'm up earlyish so would have to leave the radio off until 9:30. |

She does sound like a goody two shoes who has listened to a couple of her older siblings albums and now thinks she's "down with the kids". I'd sooner have someone completely new to it all. Matt Berry would be good. Good taste in music and that voice is smoother than Wogans! |

Oh she’s awful, why she’s rated so highly I’ll never know. |

You don't have to be a cunt to work at the BBC, but it helps if you've got one! |
