You really should hit the coast though, just as it empties of kids, and the weather looks good.

I'm usually by myself at a weekend and usually entertain myself with shopping, films, pampering, I go in to London a lot - so much to do there - and it doesn't have to be expensive.
There's a million websites with lists of things to do.
If you've got a bit of cash to spare you could go on a short break somewhere.

It’s a lovely gin. You could pick blackberries too and make a crumble. Then go buy one of those make your own marmalade kits, then you’re all sorted for gifts. |

Get a gorgeous guy off Fab to come around for a couple of hours each day just to teach you something interesting like a new language or style of cookery. Then spend the whole time flirting and thinking of what it'd be like to fuck. End the week by jumping on him mid lesson and utterly ravaging each other for 48 hours  xx |

Head off into the countryside and go for a long walk.
Go out to a place you've never been and amble around taking photos.
Go shopping, sit in a coffee shop and people watch. |
