If I was single I would meet socially first then meet in a club if I wanted to take it further. I wouldn't give out my full name, place of work, phone number or address. I wouldn't accept lifts and I would remain sober throughout. I would check at intervals that the condom remained in place and be sure a friend knew where I was.
Over the top? I read the forums |

This is exactly what I do. A social is always in a public place such as a coffee shop. I also keep all messaging on fab and don't use any messenger apps. |

Always meet somewhere public(even though some need to be discreet! ),daytime and sober, and ladies you make the decisions!.and if a red flag appears(no matter how insignificant),walk away,a decent gentleman will never pressurise you! |

"For anyone thinking of meeting someone from here, whether it be a Social or sexy meet what safety tips would you give them?
This is not for my personal reasons, I’m just putting it out there...
" take an automatic weapon, pepper spray, tell the local police where you've gone, meet in pret et manger it's cheaper and call a friend |

Social first, in public, no exceptions. Somewhere you're OK forfeiting if it all goes to pot. Not too close to home.
Let a friend know what you're doing and with who (I have a Fab friend I always tell these things). Get them to check in on you.
Have a good long chat, look them in the eye. Listen to and trust your gut.
Multiple meet verifications are often a good guide to character, but no guarantees.
Have an escape plan ready. |

"Always tell a trusted friend where you're going.
Go on your gut instincts, if something isn't right, walk away."
Definitely this, and tell whoever you're meeting you need to text your friend now and then to let them know you're OK. If that's a problem, we ain't meeting. |

Should one take a photo of their ID then and forward it on? Is that allowed with GDPR regulations? |

Northampton Somewhere |
If your going to someone's house for the first time.....
If they lock the door when you're in clock where they put the key.
Take note of where the knife rack is
Keep your bag with you (I left mine downstairs and when I went to leave my purse had been taken out!!)
Generally....
Don't give out your phone no before you've met them.
Tell a trusted friend where you're going.
Be careful with personal info.
I'm putting myself off here!!!! |

I won’t ever meet anyone without a number but then again, I usually chat via WhatsApp for ages before meeting. |

Occasionally people I know give me a lift somewhere, but I have had much more anonymous offers. |
