"I don’t like autumn too many spiders appear.
Definitely a summer baby "
ah yeah I’d forgotten that it’s big-chunky-spider-in-the-house season too!
But only 115 sleeps to go .. |

"It's still summer here .Is it autumn up north .Are all the leaves brown yet ?"
It’s not Astronomical Autumn until 23rd September so sun-lovers can bask in a few more weeks of Summer!
But Meteorological Autumn starts today irrespective of the colour of the leaves on the trees |

I've always like astronomy over meteorology it's more accurate and predictable .Its going to be 23 c here today and not a brown leaf in sight. |

"Orion is back on view "
It’s one of the best parts of Winter being able to look to the heavens again.
Orion back in the Southern Skies is always a sign the nights are drawing in!
My second fave constellation (behind Scorpio in the Southern Hemisphere!) |

The best views are usually in the south.. I'm biased, but the milkyway core is always my favourite, of course that includes scorpio as well... love them summer months |

You can do if you like. I was in your neck of the woods last week at Inkpen Beacon (star gazing amongst other things). But if your new to astrophotgraphy you'll really want to bag your first milkyway pic. Somewhere along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset is always a good starting place. |

I live in Dorset on the coast so that's a bonus and I have a digital SLR camera, a canon 350d.
So what time of year do I need to be taking my camera out to get the milky way money shot. |

"Any talk of Christmas should be banned before 1st December. No decorations in the shops, no music, nothing.
I generally do my Christmas shopping on the 24th.
I hate Christmas "
Oxford Christmas Market runs from 7 - 22nd December, we should go! |

If I can work calculators properly 115 days x 24 hours = 2760 then +1 for clocks going back then approx 45 minutes till midnight I make it 2761 hours and 45 mins till
Phew |

"Forever Autumn....great track..
Which version?
I now have the original going through my head
There is only one...."
Apparently Gary Barlow sings it on the New Generation version.
I refuse to listen to it as I can't stand his voice |
