Yeah it is disheartening. Single guys get it most of the time. But i actually responded, they read my messege and ghosted  thats what makes me scratch my head. Its just odd |

I do understand what the ops saying. I've had ladies wink me . I've messaged and they ignore . Why bother winking ? What did they hope to get out of it ? |

When I get winks I'll usually respond with a thank you ... Or if they a worthy of a message I'll write some more .. I don't like the one liner messages, they are just as menial as winks |

It's to show a little appreciation for one's profile and hopefully if they think the same too,then a wink will be received. Works well for me. Don't knock it because it doesn't work for you . I've had plenty meets because of little wink..even from a fabbed picture. Who would've thought ay  |

Well the context differs on a swingers site. It doesn't bother me,I just find it pointless to show interest in a wink and not follow up after they know you have responded. |

As a man, I wouldn’t mind a wink and say so on my profile. If I was out and about and a woman winked at me, I’d be right over there. Although, I can see the woman’s point,of it being lazy and wanting more effort. (If he can’t make the effort in a message, what’s he gonna be like on a date)  |

I guess a wink is just like giving a 'like' to a profile. They may be too far away for a meet but you liked their profile, so winked to show your appreciation. Clearly message then if they wink vack though. |

I occasionally wink if someone is mikes away and fab a few of their pics. There’s no point writing a message as we will probably never meet, but if they do have a reason to be near Leeds they might be interested enough to wink back or make contact. |

I’ll send the odd wink if I see pics I like but there isn’t much on the profile to gauge I’d they'd be for me or vice versa. To me a wink just says, hey, I like what I see. If I receive a wink I’ll check out the profile and start a conversation if I like the look at them. |
