"Will they want my Newcastle United shirts back "

I'm really sorry, you'll have to keep them.

What they do wrong? They helped me out plenty of times. Yeah I know you have to pay back but they have to make a living somehow.

Will have to go to a loan shark or something next time.

First time I used them I couldn't make the payment on time. I phoned them and they were helpful about it.

No real complaints here.

What I can't understand is people using payday lenders to buy their new TV and stuff. Are they so impatient they can't wait till they get paid?

Sorry to spam: I think it's more immoral that even if living carefully, a national living wage isn't enough to live on, cost of living is way too high now, never used to be like this IMO.

And this was during being in the EU too, so no blaming brexit for everything.

It’s the public that lose out again though. If you’ve got a loan with them you still have to pay it, if you’ve got a claim against them then it’s unlikely that you will get anything back!

Bit over simplistic, but how bad was the business managed if you’re borrowing money at 6%, lending at 1,000+% and still go bust.

Agree, but no company should be permitted to give loans with wholly ridiculous rates of interest. It's immoral in my opinion... 1500% anyone. Really? Regulation long overdue.

It's ok I've stepped in and made them an offer to lend them money to keep trading.

They're not happy with my 6000% interest charges

can i ask you a question. If you are living on a national wage and cant afford to make ends meet so you go and borrow money. Where are you getting the money from to pay them back?
