"What do you think Dan?"
You’re not allowed to do the “what do you think OP” thing on this thread. Other threads are ok though!
Ah sod it! I’m a natural cynic on the paranormal until I actually experience things myself. But I know people swear blind they’ve seen or experienced things and I trust them in that they believe it to be true!
However - I think it’s most likely that there is probably a perfectly rational explanation to what they’ve experienced but will always keep an open mind that I could be wrong!! |

When both my parents passed away some very strange things happened that had no explanation. |

"I’m in the bobbins club. Good job really because I scare easily. I have a fright and jump at the most stupid things especially in movies.
If I thought ghosties were lurking I’d never sleep! "
Haha this is me! |

You can get anti-monster spray for killing all sorts of nasties lurking under your bed!
(It’s actually just air freshener with a ridiculous mark up but it does the job!!) |

Luckily I have 2 Patterdales with small dog syndrome. Sometimes they’re reluctant to even let me in the house. There's nothing under my bed except a half chewed slipper and a little brown dog trying to chew the other half. |

It’s a serious thread! Sorry! Let’s get back on track.
But you CAN actually buy that stuff! Seriously.

I have a mate, straight laced as they come, who swears blind he was at a friends house and one still day watching tv when a door slammed behind him out of nowhere, no wind, not on a spring or anything. His friend said ‘oh that’s our ghost, don’t worry about it’ in all seriousness. He can’t think of any other rational explanation and is convinced some sort of third party must have been present for that to have happened! |

When my mother passed away. The day before her funeral I went to her house to clean it as the cortège was going to leave from the house. I was upstairs tidying up, the vacuum switched itself on and then the toilet flushed on its own. I was the only person in the house locked in. Explain that. |

I guess the only *possibly* paranormal thing I have directly experienced was as a kiddie, I certainly can’t explain it other than I was just very lucky!
I used to wander around the house with my socks half off and one day at the top of the stairs tripped over one of them and started to fall down the stairs. Except I didn’t tumble down like you’d expect. I kind of slid all the way down on my feet, upright the whole time, all the way down the full flight of stairs and landed at the bottom totally unharmed.
I should have properly tumbled and injured myself, my Mum was convinced when I told her (after she’d heard the noise I’d made falling down and rushed out in blind panic) that I had a Guardian Angel looking over me and protecting me that day!
As I say, I’m a cynic, my rational mind says I was just lucky in the way I slid / fell. But maybe, just maybe, someone or something was looking out for me that day! |

I think there is a phenomenon which is interpreted as a ghost but I am not aware that anyone has yet proved what it is. For example poltergeists whatever they are certainly have a very physical effect. Having said that I haven't any personal experience so am not qualified to say. |
