I dnt mind them i think theyre cute and fun as long as theres some normal pics too as they totally change the shape of the face and smooth out wrinkles so make people look very different  |

That’s what I’m really getting at, where a profile is all filtered and no true representation of the person you’re messaging. It’s a shame because it’s who they are that’s attractive not necessarily what they look like. |

I think the silly filters should stay on Snapchat. They’re a bit of fun but not representative of actual looks. I definitely don’t have a electric blue eyes or bunny ears.
However I like black and white filters, frames to soften the photo and the good old blemish remover. I don’t think my photos make me look younger, like someone else or slimmer. Less blemishes and tattoos - guilty! |

Reminds me of my teen daughters, incidentally I'm often found telling them if they ever go missing I've no hope of finding them as they look nothing like the pictures they post!
We swerve profiles heavily clad in Snapchat filters as theres a 50/50 chance of either extreme disappointment or surprise and its likely to be the disappointment knowing our luck.
We do use colour filters on our pictures, but never tamper with them beyond that, as we've met many a person nothing like their photo ourselves and to date have only had compliments that we represent ourselves well on our profile. |
