Wrexham

I'm rather partial to desserts. Be it a classic like a clotted cream bread and butter pudding, something indulgent like a butterscotch ice-cream sundae or one just plain bad like thick pancakes topped with dollops of ice-cream and sprinkled with jellytots.

So Fabbers, what do you want for pudding?

"Warm cookie dough sandwich from spoons "

I've never heard of Spoons but a warm cookie dough sandwich sounds delicious.

"Lemon Meringue Pie....

"

Ooooh, this was my go-to dessert whenever I used to eat out when younger. The crunchy crust, the fluffy insides and the tart bite of lemon. Divine.

Good choice that man.

Another classic! I'd probably swap the vanilla for Cornish ice cream though

I must admit to preferring lemon meringue to key lime pie but I definitely wouldn't say no to a slice

What's this? Seasonal variations?!

Can't beat strawberries or raspberries with cream (especially sprinkled with sugar too )

Got to be the proper American limes to get that nice bite. Not found a good one other than at a local market that does individual ones. But lemon meringue is a close second x

Fudge cake? Is that just a chocolate cake with fudge or something else?

Thumbs up for the fudge anyway. Yummy stuff

The big question is... jelly or no jelly?

You shall be judged based on your response.

Another classic. Best served when the jam is mouth-scaldingly hot with lumpy custard

Mmmmmm. I've always felt that the cocoa on the top somewhat ruins it though. Adds a weird powdery texture to something otherwise perfect.

Don't be sorry about butterscotch angel delight! Mix up a batch with double-cream instead of milk for an obnoxiously tasty treat

Hah! A man after my own heart.

I've been known to whip up a big batch of semolina or tapioca in place of a meal from time to time.

I’ll have a nice bread and butter pudding with custard thanks. Birds. None of this fancy ‘proper’ stuff.
