Wish people would accept thanks but no thanks though! That should mean the end of it surely. Found myself having to block because people want to know why etc etc. I hate it. I’m too nice for this lol |

Maybe fellas are less fussy about face pics. I’ve never been too bothered about a girls face, body maybe. Girls tend to be all about the face. I think what’s worse is the no reply. Bit of a blow to the ego  |

I always ask for Face pic early on so as not to lead them on. I can talk for Scotland. .... to anyone. I get told plenty times I'm not someone's type and doesn't bother me at all. Can't be everyone's type end of the day |

This is the bit of fab I don’t like.
Send a few messages, all sounds great. Then the pic arrives and I just can’t see that we’ll have any chemistry. How to say that without hurting someone’s feelings??
Happened to me on another site, sent a pic and got ‘oh no, not for me’ . I try to be nicer than that, even though he wasn’t rude, it still stung for a short while. |

Been told loads of times I am not someone's type, but after I have met someone at a organised social it like a completely different story.
I wasn't my ex's type apparently but we lasted 7 years.

Sounds familiar... I almost always prefer younger guys so anyone over about 35 is likely to get the response you mentioned OP. Plus I am presently living with my fwb so someone has to make me feel that meeting them would be worth not seeing him for the night too and that is getting rarer by the day, hence my profile saying I am not looking for guys as it is mostly pointless them asking. Don't get me wrong though, just because one person doesn't find you attractive enough doesn't mean you are ugly, you aren't! |

Hey i never said I'm not picky and I don't disagree you should have standards and I imagine some very successful picky men on here meet regularly, all I would say is that women have more opportunity to be picky theirs always someone else waiting in the wings, I don't like the phrase punching above their weight because that to be honest is human nature but women can achieve it here whereas it's a lot more difficult for men to do it |

I think this is why some people find it easier to simply block at that point.

I have asked for face pics in the past and told them they are not my type, it doesn’t automatically mean that they are unattractive though. I’m not really into very clean cut, baby faced looking men, blonde men, or men with really long unkept beards where as some women love those looks. Different strokes for different folks, you obviously manage to get meets so don’t let it worry you. Thank her for replying and move on.xx |

Its why i ask for a face pic right away, saves the upset of letting someone know they are not for me. I use to chat before hand , id be so disappointed then when they eventually sent photos. Weeks of wasted chat  |
