I used to bite but just ignore them and they will go away eventually . Stick at it because most of us are friendly folk

Awww I like the chat rooms, I only use the scotland room but the majority of folk in there are lovely!

I do think it takes a while to ‘break in’ though. Some of these people have been using them for ages and are regulars, and are friends with other regulars.

I’ve never found this. One of the first parts of the site that I used was the chat rooms, shortly followed by the forums. Tbh I found there to be less clique in the chat rooms than here in the forums. However, with both you will find people have known each other for a long time so will have some ‘in’ comments and jokes. It can take some time to get noticed as a newbie but stick at it and you will find some lovey people to chat to
