Stupid photo Filters

Why do so many women have photos with stupid filters? Amount of times I say any face photos of you & they send filtered photos with dog ears etc & that make there skin look so smooth! I want to see them no filters so I know what I’m meeting lol they make them look so much different & deceiving!

Thing is though pal with filters it makes them look nothing like they do in real life! They send them like that’s what they look like. I said to one lass any without filters she said no lol makes me laugh

I don’t know men do it as I don’t look for men but agree it’s so annoying & stupid. I want to know what they look like. If they need filters they must be ugly

I’ve seen maybe a handful of women on fab with filters, it’s mostly men IMO

Its the snapchat generation..

The 18-25 yr olds who think its cool...

But when you see older men and women doing it, then its quite sad but a good filter

I'm with you on that one. I never use any filters, don't think my phone even has that option. I hate it when my mates use them all the time. Together with "pout selfies".. What happened to a nice smiley face these days? Fed up with duck-look-a-likes.

I agree. It’s stupid sending a filtered Snapchat photo with bunny ears to someone you’re going to meet, you’re not going to look like that in real life.

I do enjoy the filters and playing around with them but only ever on Snapchat! Sending them is ridiculous!

They is a lass I work with, she uploads photos all the time on Instagram & she looks nothing like she does on them than in person. She smooths her skin out, hides 2 moles on her face, makes her eyes more blue & teeth white lol I look at them & think WTF! If u looked like that in person I would fuck u haha

We use it as a filter having seen how unrecognisable people are on social media compared to reality.

You could say the same about wearing make up, we've met someone who was often in the top ten photos ( no longer on the site) who looked nothing like her photos.

It was all down to contouring and good lighting. Face to face I had to ask who she was as I couldn't recognise her.

No filters on my pics and proud

Due to my job I have an advanced knowledge of Photoshop but I would never use it to make me look younger.

Have always believed in honesty; even with pics. So then there is a no worry when I go on a social. I know that they know what I look like.

I tend to see it occurs on the younger profiles. If people want to have fine with them, that's fair enough. To send one as a face pic, with the potential to meet though, is a little foolish

I’m not sure the issue was solely pointing to filters as the issue but more at why would a person you have been chatting to only send filtered photos.

I personally would like to see the person I’m talking to and once we have the rapport and connection then filtered pics can be sent as a little bit of fun
