I may be being thick here but are nornal candles ok to drop wax on someone

Oh yes. Especially the coloured ones. Red’s a good one. Disguises the blood.

They burn at a higher temperature so be careful about how high you drop the wax from.... Higher the better. Unless of course they like being scalded a bit.

Also coloured ones burn hotter still so be wary of that.

Definitely not! They melt too hot and may blister/ Scar.

Trust me. I speak from experience!
