I went into boots earlier to buy more hair dye (there’s an absolute shocker) and pick up my husband’s prescription. A woman behind the counter walked by and told me ‘wow, I really love your hair!’
Cheered me up so much and put a massive grin on my face. It’s little things like that that can really improve your day.
What little thing has improved your day? |

"Finding out my finger isn't broken!
I was beginning to panic how I'd manage without it!
Is it the magic finger?
I staved both my thumbs recently "
I read that as "shaved".
I've been laying on the settee this afternoon and dozed off.
Woke up to two cats snuggled up on my chest, purring and snoring. Them, not me....... |

Random acts of kindness
I recently gave one of the staff in my local cafe a small cup, the same as the one I've been taking in order to get my discount. Every time she sees it she says she likes it. £3 out my pocket made someone very happy.
It's a nice feeling. |

My dog running to his cupboard to grab his lead this afternoon. Then proceeding to run off again when I went to put it on him. He always knows how to make me laugh |

I had a piece of the delicious chocolate and cherry cake which my brother bought me as a suprise whilst we were out shopping on Saturday. The gesture in itself was extremely touching so eating the cake made me smile a lot. |

Cleaning the house - yes, sad I know. I was away last weekend so it got the most cursory of goings over. Then I've had a busy one this weekend so a proper over today and now I have that happy feeling. |

Being at work (should have been off) and a kid from a table I've served previously a month or so ago comes running over waving shouting "hellooooo I remember you and I missed you too much"
I melted a little inside. |

There’s a woman who always comes in my work and she always looks immaculate and wears lovely clothes, I told her the other day how nice she looked and her dress was nice.
I always give people friendly compliments, nice to be nice especially if it’s genuine |

Traffic land |
My kids came back from holiday with their Dad and I got my first hugs in over 2 weeks, it’s been heavenly.
I did pre-warn my teen by text yesterday “PREPARE FOR A GOOD SQUISHING!”
They’ve both just wandered up on and off all day for a cuddle |

That’s so cute. Theres a little boy who comes in our place that’s like that if we’re not busy I fuss over him, problem is he insists now that only me serves him |

That’s so kind I gave a little girl 30p the other day as she didn’t have enough for her sweets, felt tight on her |

Adding some little finishing touches today has made me happy. It was only a coat hook, hanging a mirror and a limited print. Gets me one step to mowing finished |

My brother and two nieces were visiting recently. When they were leaving (which is usually a drawn out affair as we take ages hugging, waving and calling out to each other), my older niece shouted out the car window "we love your laugh!"
It made my day |

I love moments like that.
I got on a bus this afternoon, near my house to go to city centre.
Walking on the ground floor, looking for a seat, and this chap's face rings a bell.
I set behind him and we get chatting.
Well, he was about six stops further on.
He offered to go to the supermarket and get me a bottle of red wine at his stop.
He wanted me to go to back to his.
Well, I was charmed.
I was setting out to drink a bottle of wine, and did not expect to be sidetracked on the bus.
Lovely, he was.
Still can't place his face, though.
