I love it. It’s great getting to know all the characters. I travelled all the way from Hull to Dorset a few years ago, just to visit Monkey World and recognised loads of them when I saw them in the flesh. I went all star struck when I saw Jeremy and Mike though |

I was excited to visit but disappointed when I got there as it was pouring with rain and they were mostly snuggled up and not very active. Still, they do great work there |

We have been 5 or 6 times with the kids when they were younger.
An amazing place.
Most of the monkeys stories are on view to read which is pretty upsetting what people put them through.
Well worth a visit but as one poster says they don't like the rain and also if it's too hot they'll stay in the shade.

"I used to watch this all the time, I didn't realise it was still on! "
Nor did I ... I'll have to look it up.
Have been a couple of times - there's a fantastic campsite literally next door with tipis and shepherd's huts as well as pitches. You walk across a field and you're there at Monkey World and in the morning you're woken up by the sound of the gibbons singing which is magical. I just wish it wasn't so far away as I love apes and monkeys. |

There and to the left a bit |
Haven't watched it for ages but enjoy it when I do - and enjoyed my visit there a few years back.
Love apes of any type and could watch them for hours - am a pass holder at Colchester Zoo and know the chimp family there really well, likewise the two orangutans they have.
Also go to Chester Zoo regularly and love to watch the orangutans in their fantastic enclosures. Twycross Zoo is also worth a visit with all four species of great ape to see.
Must get back to Monkey World sometime soon though |

"Im so envious off those that have been i will get there one day"
You can do it! I managed it, six hours drive there and six hours back. It was so worth it though and I’m definitely going to go again. |

Oh I stayed over. Lovely little b&b in Wool. Because I ‘adopted’ Seamus I got free entry into Monkey World too. Not sure if they still do that though. |
