Is there anything about you that you thought only you did then realized others do it as well?

For me its not being able to tell the difference between left and right. I thought i was the only adult in the world until i spoke to someone and apparently its a "thing" that affects 5% of people.

Ps. Dont ever ask me for directions

This is me too. I've always struggled with it. I'm guessing you are left handed OP?

No. Nor am i on the autism scale which can be a reason. Ive just always had it. I have to put my hands up in front of me to tell the difference

Wow really? It tends ro be pretty prevalent among left handed people. I wasn't aware that it was also something that some autistic people struggled with. 5% is still pretty unique for you though

I get confused when I come out of shops in a large shopping centre, I can't decide if I need to turn left or right. I have a dreadful sense of direction

If you hold your left hand in front of you, put your fingers together and spread your thumb out so it makes the letter 'L', you'll always know that's your left hand! That's what I taught my daughter.

When I went on my very first fab meet I was giving him directions while we were in his car. He thought it was hilarious that I had to do that!

I imagine that we’re all unique in one way or another. I’ve only one eye which makes me different to most but makes me exactly the same in most ways

I have cross dominance (not an annoyed sexual thing...)

I'm right handed, but left eye dominant.

Doesn't make much difference in normal life but does pretty much rule out target rifles or shotguns as a hobby lol
