Cover it on flour and spices. Fry it. Put carrots, onions, celery, herbs, s+p, garlic, red wine, stock into a slow cooker, add the beef and cook it all day.
Use the liquid to make the gravy. Put a power blender thong through the liquid so the soggy veg vanishes. Make fresh carrots and whatever else you want.
It's standard but does the beef justice. |
