If this took off it wpuld remove about 2/3 of the members on here there has to be a more stringent screening process cos there are soooooooo many fake profiles it makes me sick |

Google images also has a reverse image search function - just drag and drop the image from the web page to the search box.
Bear in mind tho that a lot of the amateur pic sharing sites that these pics originate from do not allow the search engines to index them. |

Wow, if this facility is available, its an amazing opportunity to out the fakes, although I'm.struggling to work out the concept.
Does it map images you submit against all other images spread across the WWW.
No need to post any replies to my query directly on this thread, you can mail me direct. I don't wanna inadvertently help fakers get around the new policing.
Ps: I'm gen before you say I just wanna know te way around this. |

It's a flawed tool for checking for fakes.....and the reason is many people on this site, me included, don't only post their photos on here.
My pics are on several UK sites....and that's my business and has nothing to do with anyone else.
It's not a proviso of the site Admin that the photos you place on this site are to be unique to this site. |

agreed...but when the majority of the ones I have found with tineye originate from stock photo sites or gayporn sites...there is a pretty go chance that they are fake...lol I think the funniest so far has been someone trying to pass off photos of Taye Diggs as himself or various other models...it does make me giggle

Indeed - but it helps out the obvious ones who have just pulled pics off a porn site, or stock image website, model directory etc
Bear in mind also that most amateur pic sharing website like newbie nudes do not allow search engines to index their image files, so having your own pics up on sites like that won't case you a problem. |

We only post on here at the moment but in the past have used other sites and they were stolen a few times, its just one of the risks you take when posting them.

I've reported a few profiles sporting pics on mid 90's American hugetit pornstars who have popped up on here. My favorite was when a star called Wendy Whoppers appeared on this site, using pics about 15 years old and now living in Preston under an assumed name.... might be real, but it seemed doubtful 
My pics are in a few places but as I keep the same username on other sites, it should be obvious who it is. |

So lets get this straight, you put a personal pic into a search engine, upload it to whom? Where will that image get stored after you have uploaded it?
Could it be possible that someone could be using the site to build a collection of other peoples personal photos? |

With TinEye you just right click the picture and hey presto! it shows if it is out there, anywhere else....I have seen some corkers, from a guy on a boat with piers morgan...and arse shots taken from Mr Brazil and Mr USA haha you have to laugh at their stupidity, I also once saw a guy calling himself Colin Firth and actually had a picture of Colin on his profile  |

I haven't encountered too many on here, but on another site i use there are a lot of suspiciously good looking men with professional type pics... I don't block unverified people, but i do tell them i won't chat without the flag at least. The ones who ask how and then act on it within a few hours get attention even if its just chat. But quite a few never mail me again, or mail me with a single male verification which puts me on my guard.  |
