Chatting to this guy for a while.
Our paths never crossed.
Until today.
Out for a while this PM and home thinking, yes, i'll invite you round.
30 mins notice, he said earlier, to freshen up and come round.
So I invite him round.
And he asks:
"Can I Freshen Up At Yours?"
And I'm thinking, this ain't a hotel.
Anyone else ever get anything like that?
What did you think?
I've kinda gone off him now.

"I really can’t see the problem with this.
Most people complain about lack of hygiene, not someone wanting to freshen up a bit once arriving.
"
To be fair. I would insist that they showered at mine first. For hygiene reasons.. That way I would be absolutely sure they would be clean and I would be able to check all parts before they came anywhere near me..

Wow, I am so glad I posted this. I changed my mind after reading your replies.
He went into shower, came out and . . . well, I am warmed up now for the rest of Saturday evening!
Enjoy, Fab friends!

i understand what happened now.
He was messaging from his work.
I asked how much notice he needed.
30 mins to freshen up and travel
I assumed he meant before he came
He was thinking here
Communication breakdown.
Lolololol
I'll not make that mistake again! |

"I think typing your posts OP have taken more time than your meet was
Think you should call him
Dandruff
Wash and Go
"
He had this thing about calling me Miss.
That makes me cringe, honestly.
But I used it to my advantage.
He told me he was about to come.
So I told him to control himself.
He did.
And then I went again.
He gave up calling me Miss after that

You mention your place not being a hotel. We get quite a few people suggesting they could visit us on a little holiday. One couple in particular said they'd like to stay a week but generously offered to get a hotel if we didn't get on . |

lololol
I get complete strangers asking if they can stay the night
And I'm thinking to myself, wow, seriously?
I could be Rose West.
He could be Fred West.
No, just come shag me. Shag me again, yes. If it takes you all night, over and over again, well that's fabulous!
We might like each other.
And I might feel comfortable sleeping with you.
But you're asking a lot.
Especially, when I've have not met you.
Still, never say never.
Maybe they are travelling and want to have a drink.
That's cool.
But it's a bit pushy.
I sleep with people I know.

People often used to try and persuade us to stay at theirs overnight. We agreed once, never again. I won't go in to details but we'd both had a couple of glasses of wine so couldn't drive and ended up sitting up, fully clothed in their spare room while they bashed out the zeds in their room. |
